TEACHING WRITING
Jane taught on the MA in Writing at Sheffield Hallam university from 1994-2015, becoming Professor of Writing in 2006. Residencies include: Northern College, Barnsley; Paris Sorbonne; Adelaide University; and Banff, Canada. She has also held an RLF Fellowship at Warwick university.
Recent and current teaching includes online novel and story courses for Faber Academy, mentoring for Gold Dust, tutoring on Memoir and Novel courses for MsLexia, and supervising novel students on the MSt in Writing at Oxford.
